President-Elect Barack Obama is filling the top positions of his economic team with financial industry heavyweights, such as former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker as head of the new President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary and Lawrence Summers as director of the National Economic Council.
